The George Hotel is situated right in the heart of Edinburgh on the popular and chic George Street, just a stone's throw away from Princes Street. This makes it an ideal location for exploring Edinburgh's many attractions, including Princes Street Gardens, Holyrood Palace, Edinburgh Castle or any one of the museums and galleries that lie less than ten minutes' walk away. It is also ideal for shopping and discovering the wide selection of bars and restaurants of George street and Edinburgh's West End.
Located in a beautiful Grade 2 listed building, the George recently underwent a multi-million pound renovation project, incorporating all of the public areas and most of the 195 bedrooms, many of which boast excellent views of Edinburgh Castle or the Firth of Forth. Wireless and broadband access is now available throughout the hotel.
Formal dining is available in the renowned Carvers Restaurant; or, for a more relaxed experience, you can enjoy the brand new Tempus Bar, which offers light meals and snacks as well as an extensive drinks menu, including a range of malt whiskies and fine beverages.
