Los Angeles, “the City of Angels” is the capital city of California, located at the Southern Coast of America. This is the home place of many blockbuster movies and stars, but there is much more to do that star spot here and see the latest film being made in this dazzling place!

Many attractions are based around Mann’s Chinese Theatre. You can view the famous handprints and shoeprints along with The Hollywood Boulevard Walk of Fame to honour those in film, music and theatre. Touring the homes of the famous can be arranged with many operators that depart by bus at Mann’s Chinese Theatre. For shopping, take a look at Chinatown, Little Tokyo and on Olvera Street. Explore Ventura Boulevard, the Grove, Glendale Galleria Avenue or perhaps browse down the exclusive Rodeo drive.

The big and well known department stores are certainly worth a look whether you are browsing or buying. Macy’s located on Herald Square by the Empire State Building, Bloomingdales on 1000 Third Avenue at 59th Street and Saks Fifth Avenue on 611 Fifth Ave. at 49th Street.

Amusement and Theme Parks are plentiful in this city, the most famous being Disneyland situated in Anaheim and Universal Studios in Universal City. After touring this remarkable city go and wind down by the beautiful beaches of Santa Monica, Venice beach and Malibu.

When the stars come out at night go downtown for a whole range of places to eat and drink. The most famous being The Bonavista Lounge, a relaxing cocktail lounge at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel. Casey’s Irish Bar & Grille, a classic 30’s style bar with an Irish/American menu or the Back Door Pub to sample the Spanish-American menu. For the extra ordinary, drink at the Standard Rooftop Bar at the Standard Hotel, featuring a swimming pool and waterbed cabanas. A new nightclub to hit L.A is Level 3, a contemporary club featuring state of the art audio and lighting system or Club Mayan Nightclub with a strong Latin theme. Friday nights are Mixx nights with House and Hip Hop music. Saturday nights are tropical nights with Southern California’s top DJ’s and Salsa Orchestras.
